Burlig studies energy and environmental economics, with a focus on the developing world Tom Coleman, Harris professor and former Executive Director and Senior Advisor at the Becker Friedman Institute for Research in Economics. He focuses on financial markets and worked in the finance industry for over twenty years, with considerable experience in trading, risk management, and quantitative modeling Steven Durlauf, Steans Professor in Educational Policy. Durlauf's research spans many topics in microeconomics and macroeconomics.
