"Mena Rodríguez also participated in a panel discussion 'State of Democracy,' organized by the University of Chicago," wrote Alberto Rodriguez, who penned the SDP Noticias article. "There, the President pointed out that the rulers must maintain close contact with the population at all times so that their public policies are based on their needs and not on idle analyses."

The untranslated quotation reads: "Mena Rodríguez participó además en un panel de discusión ‘Estado de la Democracia’, organizado por la Universidad de Chicago. Ahí.
