Crime Lab Teams Up with Other Universities to Study Illegal Firearms Transactions

The University of Chicago’s Crime lab was featured in Reuters along with the Center on Crime and Community Resilience at Northeastern University for their combined effort to conduct thorough academic research on types of payment methods used to finance illegal transactions. The study will be funded by PayPal Holdings Inc in an attempt to help financial companies and law enforcement agencies.
