Policy on the Table

Policy on the Table events allow participants of the Harris Mentor Program to have an intimate discussion regarding current policy issues or challenges.  The program will accommodate three mentors and ten mentees. This event will feature; 

• Yana Gallen, Assistant Professor, Harris Public Policy
• Bart Édes, Representative, North American Representative Office, Asian Development Bank
• Alexandra Usher, MPP'14, Associate Director, To&Through Project / Senior Research Analyst, The University of Chicago Urban Education Institute
• John Bouman, IOP Fellow, President at Sargent Shriver National Center on Poverty Law

Seats at this event are extremely limited and will be allocated out by lottery.  The lottery will close Friday, 2/28, at noon.  Those selected in the lottery will be notified Tuesday morning.  Please only enter the lottery if you are able to participate in the event.  If you enter, it is expected that you will be attend the event if selected.  Not available or selected?  Don’t worry, there will be more Policy on the Table events throughout the quarter.  

RSVP and attendance will count for 6 professional development credits as well as Mentor Program participation towards the Leadership Credential.

Mentors may be subject to addition and change.
