Ms. Blauer will discuss the national initiative, funded by Bloomberg Philanthropies, to help 100 mid-sized American cities enhance their use of data and evidence to improve services, inform local decision-making and engage residents. It’s the nation’s most comprehensive philanthropic initiative helping local leaders identify and invest in what works. The initiative is now active in many mid-size cities and recruiting more. She will discuss both the challenges and successes of the project.
