Alumni and friends who give annually to Harris provide pivotal resources to drive our mission. Philanthropy supports student life and financial aid, faculty research and retention, and the centers and institutes that contribute to Harris' global impact. In recognition of our most generous supporters, we have established the Harris Society. 

Members of the Harris Society are part of a community committed to Harris’ future as a preeminent training ground for policy leaders. By making an annual gift at the Harris Society level, you can provide Harris with the greatest flexibility in responding to the needs of our community.

Membership Benefits Include: 

  • A welcome package and membership pin sent to all new members. 
  • Early access to signature Harris events. 
  • Invitations to exclusive Harris programs and events, such as private dinners with Harris Policy Forum speakers, faculty, and the Dean. 
  • Annual summer reading selections highlighting new books by Harris faculty. 
  • Recognition in the Harris Society honor roll, included in the print edition of the annual Impact Report. 
  • Members who have made consecutive gifts for three years or more are also welcomed to the Maroon Loyalty Society. 
  • Members in the Inspiration Circle, or higher, are also welcomed to the Chicago Society. 

Membership Tiers 

The Harris Society recognizes members for their support as leadership donors and advocates for the school and its mission. Alumni and friends are honored at various circles, with greater benefits accumulated at each level: 

  • Eminence Circle | $25,000+
  • Impact Circle | $10,000 - $24,999
  • Innovation Circle | $5,000-$9,999
  • Inspiration Circle | $2,500-$4,999
  • Inquiry Circle | $1,000 - $2,499

For recent Harris alumni, Harris Society membership at the Inquiry Circle is extended at the following levels:

  • 2-5 years from graduation | $500 -$999
  • Within two years from graduation | $250 - $499
