Information Technology Desktop Services Technology Use Policies The HSIT Desktop Services team handles the procurement and provisioning of university-purchased computing devices and maintains the security controls to ensure their safe operation. The team provides technical support for the Harris community in the event of hardware and software issues and offers assistance for users in accessing and utilizing Harris and university resources. The Desktop Services team can be reached via email at hsit-servicedesk@uchicago.edu or in-person at the Harris Tech Bar between the hours of 9am and 5pm in room 0043A in the lower level of the Keller Center.
