Her primary research area is the economics of education. She investigates how policies related to information revelation and integration affect high school course-taking decisions. Her work also explores optimal location choices for early childhood education provision and examines the impact of nutrition and healthcare interventions on improving educational outcomes for girls in developing countries. Ritika holds a PhD in Economics from Rice University and an MSc in Economics from University College London.
