Postdoctoral Scholar About Neil Cholli Neil is a post-doctoral fellow at the Stone Center for Research on Wealth Inequality and Mobility at the University of Chicago Harris School of Public Policy. He is a labor and public economist who leverages applied microeconomic methods guided by theory to understand the mechanisms of social mobility and evaluate policies aimed at promoting it. Prior to joining the Stone Center, Neil completed his Ph.D. in economics at the University of Chicago and his B.A. at the University of Pennsylvania, where he was involved in local nonprofits and the City of Philadelphia's anti-poverty agency, and interned at the White House National Economic Council in 2016.
