About Kyle Weiner

Kyle brings specialties in message strategy, brand identity, digital storytelling, and integrated marketing plan creation, execution, and supervision. He is currently responsible for the marketing strategy and execution for student recruitment and global outreach, executive education, and leadership program activities.

Before joining Harris, Kyle worked on the agency side of marketing and communications. He served a higher education portfolio of clients at Denver-based consultancy Communications Strategy Group and most recently was the content marketing manager for Chicago-based brand agency Tell Your Story. He started his post-undergraduate career with two years of AmeriCorps service, first mentoring and tutoring Chicago Public School students with educational nonprofit City Year Chicago, and next as communications manager with food accessibility nonprofit Top Box Foods.

Kyle earned his BA in History from the University of Wisconsin-Madison along with a certificate in Integrated Liberal Studies.

Visit more Chicago neighborhoods by bike, read, and play pick-up basketball.

What’s something you are looking forward to doing?

Get back to world travel (safely). Morocco, Ireland, and Japan are top of the list, and want to cross off New Orleans, Montreal, and Vancouver in the coming years. If you've spent time in any of these places, please tell me what I have to check out there.

What are your favorite traits of Chicago?

1) Ferocity of young people fighting for social change and pushing towards racial equity.

2) Blue-collar mentality with all the perks of a global city.

3) Variety of restaurants and cuisines.
