Assistant Director Academic Advisor and Financial Aid About Daisy Cruz Daisy Cruz serves as an Assistant Director on the Dean of Students team. In this role, she serves as an academic advisor to MPP students and is part of the financial aid team. She advises graduate students on academic and financial aid matters to help them achieve their goals and enhance their student experience. Daisy started as a student worker for the financial aid office in her undergraduate program that allowed her to gain the experience, which then led her to the University of Chicago. Prior to joining Harris, she worked at UChicago's Financial Aid Office where she started off as a Financial Aid Advisor for undergraduate students. In this role, she assisted undergraduate students and their families with the financial aid process. She then advanced to Financial Aid Counselor for graduate students, where she processed financial aid for grad students and assisted them with financial aid matters. Daisy holds a bachelor's degree in Spanish from Purdue University Northwest with a minor in Psychology and a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from Purdue University Northwest. When not at Harris, Daisy enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, and reading.
