About Brandon Kurzweg

Brandon Kurzweg is Assistant Dean of Students, Student Life at Harris Public Policy. In his role at Harris, he cultivates cocurricular experiences that enhance the Harris student experience by creating a transformative learning environment that supports the personal and professional development of Harris students as future policy leaders. In addition to his responsibilities at Harris, Brandon is also a Dean-on-Call in the University, serving as an official responsible for providing referrals, information, and support to all students within the University during emergency situations.

Brandon is a student affairs professional with more than six years of experience fostering community engagement and leadership development with undergraduate and graduate students. Prior to joining Harris, he worked in the Center for Leadership and Involvement with the Department of Campus and Student Life at UChicago, where he supported cocurricular experiences for all students at the University. His professional development home is the American College Personnel Association (ACPA), which supports and fosters student learning through the generation and dissemination of knowledge, which informs policies, practices, and programs for student affairs and student services professionals and the higher and tertiary education community.

Brandon received a master’s degree in leadership studies from North Central College and a BS in communications from Bradley University.
