Bethany Malzman Program Director, Harris Social Impact Fellowship Contact Email Bethany Malzman About Bethany Malzman joins as the Program Director, Harris Social Impact Fellowship. In this role, she works closely with the Executive Director to provide programmatic and operational leadership for the Harris Social Impact Fellowship, a flagship initiative of the Harris School. As Program Director, she oversees the full lifecycle of Fellowship operations, from fellow recruitment and selection to partnership development and program execution and represents the Fellowship at the operational level. Prior to joining Harris, Bethany was a Senior Associate Director at the University of Chicago's Career Advancement office, where she managed employer partnerships and led undergraduate programming and advising in the government, public policy, and social impact fields. At Career Advancement, Bethany developed and implemented a comprehensive employer engagement strategy to strengthen partnerships and increase job and internship opportunities for students. Earlier in her career, she held roles in talent acquisition and recruitment within the management consulting industry, and in marketing and recruitment within international higher education. Bethany holds a Bachelor of Arts in Government from Dartmouth College. Post-graduation, Bethany served as a U.S. Fulbright Scholar in Spain. She is passionate about creating opportunities that empower students, build meaningful impact, and lead positive change.
