About Olga Namen

Olga Namen is a PhD candidate in Public Policy at the University of Chicago. Her primary fields of interest are education, international development and program evaluation. Her research focuses on how grade promotion policies affect students' outcomes and influence peer effects. 

Before coming to Chicago, she worked as a research fellow at the Inter-American Development Bank and the World Bank. She holds a MA in economics and a BA in economics from Universidad de los Andes in Colombia.
