Never has policy been so relevant.
An understanding of public policy and analysis is increasingly important to take on the challenges—and unlock the opportunities—facing both the public and private sectors in our city and around the world.
Business leaders need to understand the impact of policy on their business. Social entrepreneurs are leveraging technology to improve outcomes in education, healthcare, and other areas of the social sphere. Nonprofit leaders need to speak the language of policy and demonstrate program effectiveness.
Demand is growing for the kind of evidence-based approach for which the University of Chicago Harris School of Public Policy is known.
The Harris Public Policy Evening Master's Program is designed specifically for emerging leaders and mid-career professionals to help you lead your organization and make a measurable impact on the city and the world.
The Evening Master’s Program is an ideal fit for emerging leaders in business, non-profits, law, education, consulting, or government, who need to gain a broader perspective on public policy as they take on more leadership responsibility as well as those in the social sphere who want the fundamental understanding of public policy and analytics to complement their experience. Students can complete their degree in four quarters of study while working full-time.
And best of all: as a rising professional, there's no need to worry about taking the GRE or GMAT. No score required.
The program has cohorts starting three times each year – autumn (September), winter (January), and spring (March). We encourage students to apply as soon as possible as seating is limited in each cohort.
The application for the Spring of 2021 is now open. We are accepting applications for the spring cohort, beginning in March, on a rolling basis through January 15, 2021. Applications received after the targeted application deadline will be reviewed as space is available and may be reviewed for a future quarter.
At Harris Public Policy, we teach you how to turn your passion for doing good into proven social impact. Here you will develop the skills you need to ask the hard questions, follow the evidence to the answers, and lead the change you'd like to see.
