About Diep Truong

Diep Truong serves as an Associate Director Research Administration on the finance team. In
this role, she administers pre-award and post-award activities relating to grant and contract
proposals/funding which includes preparing applications and editing proposals. Post-award
activities include compliance monitoring, payment processing, financial reporting, budget
projections, and salary allocations.

Diep most recently served as Finance Manager in the University of Chicago Radiology
department where she led reporting, compliance review, and process development for grants
and gifts administration. Prior to that, Diep was the Budget and Grant Specialist at the Pritzker
School of Molecular Engineering and in that role provided comprehensive analysis of proposals
and budgets to ensure accuracy and compliance with established procedures and regulations.
Diep has held previous budget and financial positions in Pediatrics and the Office of the Dean
(BSD) within the university. 

Diep holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from Northern Illinois University.
