Application Deadlines

Students will receive notification from UChicago within two weeks of the application deadline.

Eligibility

All applicants are required to complete an online application and will be notified electronically. We encourage you to apply as early as possible. To enroll in the program, you must have finished at least one year of full-time study at an undergraduate institution by the time you attend the program. Students should have taken at least one course in statistics and/or econometrics and be familiar with hypothesis testing, randomized controlled trials, multivariate regression analysis, difference-in-difference, and panel data regressions.

Required Application Materials

  • Complete online application
  • Motivation statement in English (word limit: 300)
  • Academic transcripts
    • Transcripts detail the courses, dates, grades and grading scales for each year of postsecondary (college or university) education as well as degrees awarded.
    • Unofficial transcripts are accepted. You may upload a PDF copy. 
    • An official English translation must be submitted for all foreign language transcripts. Official translations must be submitted by the university or an official translator organization or notary. Student provided translations are not considered official.
  • One-page resume in English

Program Fee and Enrollment Deposit

Program Fee: $2,300

Early Action Discounted Program Fee: $2,100 (The discounted program fee applies for Early Action round applicants only. See above for the application deadlines.)

Enrollment Deposit: $500 (For admitted students, this deposit is required to secure your seat.)

The program fee only includes program materials and organized required group activities.

Participant’s lodging, meal, travel and health insurance, transportation, visa application fee etc. are not covered in the program fee. There is no scholarship provided for the program.

Participants will receive a Certificate of Completion of the program.
