Learning from the successes of tech‐driven “superstar” cities and the challenges of smaller cities, this course will prepare students to develop realistic, region-specific development goals and strategies, whether coming from the private, public, or nonprofit sector perspective. Our discussions will also familiarize students with the critical and rapidly evolving technology market, and the proper role of government in managing that market and protecting citizens.
