Invest in the next generation of policy leaders.

The world requires a new kind of policy leader today—one who is willing to find and face the facts that lead to measurable results. Having a robust package of fellowships to offer students helps Harris Public Policy attract individuals with exceptional track records and leadership potential, enabling them to follow their passion without fear of financial burden.

Training the Next Generation of Leaders

Your gift can help us fund fellowships that allow us to train more students to drive progress on the toughest societal challenges.

Established Harris fellowships include:

  • Irving B. Harris Fellowship covers 100 percent of tuition plus a stipend
  • The Harris Alumni Fellowships, founded by members of the Harris Alumni Council, support at least one exceptional incoming student per year by covering half of tuition
  • Knoll Scholarship is awarded to a student who demonstrates a strong interest in international affairs, defense policy or federal education policy
  • Wendt Fellowship, funded by College alumnus Greg Wendt, AM’83, supports students who demonstrate exceptional leadership skills, a strong academic record, and interest in public service

“It was a great honor to be chosen. I’m reminded of it whenever I pause and take stock of what a great opportunity it is to be able to attend Harris. I would like to thank the alumni and other donors, I firmly intend to return the favor in paying it forward for future fellowship recipients.”

How You Can Help

You can empower a future leader in public policy by funding or helping to fund a fellowship for Harris students:

  • A gift of $1 million will support a named endowed fellowship
  • Donations of $100,000 will support a named endowed partial fellowship.

An endowed fellowship can be named in honor of the donors or their family and donors will receive an annual report on the student recipient. Donors can indicate preferences for which students benefit from the fellowship.
