2017 Kreisman Initiative on Housing Law and Policy Summer Fellowship Program

The Kreisman Initiative on Housing Law and Policy began at the University of Chicago Law School in the fall of 2013. The Initiative, co-directed by Lee Anne Fennell and Benjamin J. Keys, seeks to bring UChicago ideas to bear on housing-related legal and policy debates through scholarly research, external engagement, and educational programming. The Initiative was made possible by a generous gift from David Kreisman, AB'60, JD'63, and his wife, Susan. As part of this mission, the Initiative is providing a limited number of $5000 stipends to Harris students who have secured unpaid housing-related internships. Such opportunities may include but are not limited to housing-related nonprofits, think tanks, or government agencies. Domestic and international housing-related internships or projects are acceptable and encouraged.
