About the Harris Public Policy Evening Master's Program @ 1871.

The Harris Public Policy Evening Master's Program at 1871 is a new part-time program designed for emerging leaders in business, law, consulting, or government, who need to gain a broader perspective on public policy as they take on more leadership responsibility as well as those in the social sphere who want the fundamental understanding of public policy and analytics to complement their experience. Students who enroll in this four quarter program will earn an MA in public policy and gain a solid foundation in the fundamentals of data analytics, economic analysis, leadership and the strategic foundations of public policy.

The curriculum for the part-time AM-PP is based on the current full-time AM-PP degree curriculum. Students will receive training in leadership and management, statistics, microeconomics, analytical politics, and various substantive policy areas. This program offers classes in a convenient format and location - at the 1871 offices in the Merchandise Mart.
