Fall Lecture Series

The Fall 2015 Chicago Harris Lecture Series brought alumni in four cities together for lively, faculty-led discussions. The series kicked off in New York City, where William Howell (top left) offered his take on constitutional barriers to effective federal leadership. In Mexico City, Paula Worthington considered strategies officials in Mexico and the United States are adopting to strengthen state and municipal finances. In Washington, D.C., Ethan Bueno de Mesquita (bottom right) explored “the new science of conflict.” And in Chicago, in conjunction with the University’s 125th anniversary celebration, Susan Mayer and Ariel Kalil discussed the power of innovative policy to unleash children’s potential.
