CAREER DEVELOPMENT OFFICE
In addition to working with CDO counselors and active networking, connect with HarrisLink, Vault, and employment resources by sector and by industry to find a job or internship, and to learn more about organizations and career paths.
HarrisLink is a comprehensive, searchable database where thousands of interesting and meaningful jobs, internships, and fellowships are posted for Harris students and alumni. New opportunities are posted daily, and students/alumni can establish ongoing searches that sort listings by geographic location, policy area, position title, or type of organization. The database includes listings where students and alumni can research employers, while employers can search student/alumni resumes posted within HarrisLink. We also encourage you to "opt-in" to a HarrisLink Resume Book (with a resume approved by the CDO), as employers use this tool to identify job candidates by policy area of specialization.
If you wish to use HarrisLink, you must first create an account.
Once your account is created, you will receive a confirmation email with your login information. Be sure to check your email to complete the registration process.

4) Look in your email for an email with your username and password.
Once you have logged in, you can change your password.

HarrisLink offers two distinct interfaces for employers and students/alumni. To post positions for your organization, view resume books, or use a variety of additional services offered to employers, all alumni must establish a new EMPLOYER account in HarrisLink by registering from the HarrisLink employers page.
When establishing your HarrisLink Employer account, please use your employer email address (as opposed to previous UChicago or personal addresses). Angela Perez is happy to provide you with HarrisLink assistance and can be contacted at email@example.com or 773-834-9082. Please indicate in your correspondence that you are a Harris alumna/us wanting to establish an EMPLOYER account.
Upon accessing HarrisLink, there are many video tutorials that provide tips on navigating the system and getting the most out of HarrisLink. If you have any questions, contact the Career Development Office or consult the FAQs.
