Eligibility

All applicants are required to complete an online application and will be notified electronically. We encourage you to apply as early as possible. To enroll in the program, you must have finished at least one year of full-time study at an undergraduate institution by the time you attend the program.

Admissions notifications are issued approximately two weeks after the deadline. We encourage you to apply early. 

Apply by March 1, 2022 to receive $300 program fee discount and have the chance to shape the capstone project choice.

*Please note the application may closer before Round 4 if space is no longer available.

Required Application Materials

  • Motivation statement in English (word limit: 300)
  • Academic transcripts
    • Transcripts detail the courses, dates, grades and grading scales for each year of postsecondary (college or university) education as well as degrees awarded.
    • Unofficial transcripts are accepted. You may upload a PDF copy. 
    • An English translation must be submitted for all foreign language transcripts.
  • Resume (one-page in English)

Program Fee 

The program fee for the 2022 program is $2,300 USD.

Discount

Program fee discounts are available for:

  • Applicants who apply by the Priority Deadline:  $2,000 
  • Applicants from partner programs:  $2,000
  • UChicago and PKU current degree students: $1,500
  • UChicago and PKU degree alumni: $1,500
  • UChicago credential program alumni:  $1,500

Scholarship

There is no scholarship available for the program.

Additional Course Fee

The fee for the additional, optional course "Introduction to R Programming" is $600 USD. Payment for the additional course is submitted with the program fee.

Deposit & Payment

Admitted students are required to submit a non-refundable $500 USD enrollment deposit to confirm their seat in the program by the deadline listed in their admission letter. The remaining balance is due at the beginning of the program.

Payment for the deposit and remaining balance is submitted by credit card in the application portal. Admitted students will receive details on the payment process.
